US Women's Open Championships 2011. The 2011 championship will be staged at The Broadmoor, which last hosted the 1995 Women’s Open won by Annika Sorenstam. This year’s event will play to a par-71 from a record-setting 7,047 yards – due in part to The Broadmoor’s elevation. The 2011 Open will host 156 professionals and amateurs, with more than 125,000 spectators. This will be the seventh championship the USGA has staged at The Broadmoor.
US Women's Open, scheduled at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado from July 7 - 10, 2011 with live TV coverage in the U.S. on ESPN and NBC Sports. U.S. Women's Open was added to the championships sanctioned by the USGA.
