United States take on Mexico in a friendly in Philadelphia on Wednesday, August, 10. Jurgen Klinsmann faces a tough task on his first match in command of Team USA when he took the Mexicans in Philadelphia, Wednesday. Also featured in the Gold Cup squad was the hero of Giovani's dos Santos, Andres Guardado and Pablo Barrera, three goals- scorers in a 4-2 defeat of the U.S. in the Rose Bowl in June. Particularly absent from the squad is Manchester United star Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, who is recovering from a concussion he suffered before the MLS All-Star Game last month.

Showdown Next week is the first-time archrivals have met since the Gold Cup, and welcoming their first since February 2008, the result 2-2 in Houston. Both teams will meet at the home of Philadelphia Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, on August 10 at 9 pm ET.
