Dell has recently launched in China, the first smartphone – Streak Pro D43- that runs on Baidu Yi.Baidu-Yi was developed by the company Baidu for Chinese smartphones and it is based on Android platforms, replacing much of the original software such as Google search engine, and instead of Google Maps is Baidu Maps.
All the functions and services of the Dell Streak Pro D43 smartphone are tailored to Chinese users, such as Mandarin voice control, Yi app store and a free 100GB cloud storage with support for multimedia files.
Dell Streak Pro D43 features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 960 x540 resolution and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal memory, quad-band HSPA and a microSD card slot.
Dell StreakPro D43 will be available soon in China through China Unicom phone network and it can be purchased on www.dell.com.cn and through designated channels.
